Shining is overrated, B.E.A.M. instead.

B.E.A.M. is the proprietary coaching framework for all programs and services at I Am Possible. B.E.A.M. is an acronym that stands for Believe, Expect, Act, and Master. It is also a nod to the multiple definitions of the word beam.
A beam is a physical structure that supports weight and transfers loads. It is usually a square piece of sturdy wood or metal. So, in its physical form, a beam is purposed to resist bending under sheer force and to support weight. One thing I know to be true is life brings both joy and sorrow. Life has seasons of light and dark. There are times when we feel immense pressure and other times, we experience relative ease. We want our clients to remember that they are equipped to withstand the pressure of life and can also help support the weight of others.
A beam can also be defined as a ray of light. A ray of light is precise and directional. It serves a purpose and illuminates a path. While it takes up space, it makes room for other rays to glow as well. Fun fact, when multiple rays are grouped together it is called a beam of light! Similarly, we want our clients to radiate their unique light source and encourage others to do the same.
So why should one B.E.A.M., instead of shine?
There is a slight difference between beaming and shining. Shining relies on the reflection of light to determine its level of brightness. Beaming is not dependent upon the external environment to emit light. When something shines, it fills up a room and absorbs the light that once existed. Shining has the potential to distract or blind others.
Individuals who beam have a particular aura and confidence that does not compete with other forms of light. Think of people you encounter who always need to shine. What characteristics do they display? How do you feel in their presence? Now think of individuals who beam and have an internal light that does not waiver based on external factors; ask yourself the same questions. What differences do you notice and which do you prefer?
We encourage our clients to choose to Believe that they were created for a purpose, Expect to be seen, heard, and valued, Act with integrity and boldness, and Master the alignment of their mindset, values, and behavior.
Choose B.E.A.M.!
With Love,
